fshing Class Quests Guide for Players

Class quests are a great way to get gear relevant for your current level and they add some xp that may sometimes be difficult to come by. I suggest performing the class quests as you level up as which will provide you with probably the most benefit. Your rod will always be reasonably current and whilst you will get HQ rods by buying them or creating them yourself this can be a good option. Level 1 - My First Fishing Rod
Deliver five Lominsan anchovies to Sisipu. These can be caught within Limsa Lominsa using the lugworms you had been initially given for joining the guild, but much more may be bought in the Fieldcraft merchant in Hawker's Alley.
Reward: Hempen Dalmatica of Gathering.

Level 5 - Larger Fish to Fry
Provide 3 harbor herrings to Sisipu. These can once once more be caught inside Limsa Lominsa with Pill Bugs. These may be purchased in the Fieldcraft merchant in Hawker's Alley.
Reward: Maple Fishing Rod.

Level 10 - The Princess and the Fish
Deliver a HQ princess trout to Sisipu. These may be caught with crayfish balls which were rewarded for the level five class quests, or can be purchased from the Fieldcraft merchant in Hawker's Alley. I caught these within the stream outdoors of the exit to Lower La Noscea exactly where the toads are located. (may want to head all the method to the back from the cave because a FATE spawns right here and also the toads have a large AoE attack)
Reward: Amateurs Fishing Rod.

Level 15 - Every Fish Has a Silver Lining
Provide five Navigator's Daggers to Chuchuroon close to the Fisherman's Guild. These may be caught with Rat Tails, which can be purchased in the Merchant & Mender NPC in Aleport. The target location is Brewer's Beacon in Western La Noscea. You have to position your self behind the tower to be within the correct area. (thanks Zetanio!)
